I bought a first gen Macbook air second hand (from here, incidentally) and in what I thought was perfect condition a month or so back.
These past few days however, its taken a fair while to boot up and today it won't do it at all - constantly switching between the white apple & blue loading...
Other than a colour coded Magic Tree, this is as standard a MK2 ph1 S as they come. Unfortunately, as the wheels are f**king horrid and the front and rear bumpers, as well as the bumpstrips need colour coding, as they look terribad.
For this reason, I havent really touched the wheels...
When the first one came out it was amazing, I couldn't believe anything could look so real. Granted I said the same about Driver, and that looks like raw dog penis now.
oh, and its Gran Turismo. Serial.
Just off the top of my head; Half Life 2, GTA Vice City, Uncharted 2 - because when playing all of them I had a OMFGTHISISAMAZINGLOLZ! feeling at least once.
I've got TalkTalk at the minute, was reluctant at first as heard they were terrible, but got offered a decent deal. Two years on and not had a single problem, other then the router deciding to smash its self to bits.
I'm amazed nobodies made a decent aftermarket version of these yet. They'd make an absolute mint, surely..

Get a mac. You'll instantly be a better person, and you won't have to put up with any of this s**t.
lololololol I'm laughing but I'm serious. Sorry, serial.
my mantra..
I used to use InterfaceLift all the time for amazog wallpapers, but can't find anything half decent on there now without spending hours looking. Anyone know any ubercool wallpaper sites?
The numbers are just the latest firmware versions, you want the last 3G one in the list (iPhone 3G 4.2.1/8C148) - you could always try one of the earlier ones too and just update it though, when (and if) you get it sorted.
hm, I'd avoid using the firmware update apps to be honest. Did anything happen when you followed my steps?
I'd download the latest firmware for your 3G from here, follow the steps I posted earlier and press shift when pressing update/restore in iTunes to select the firmware you've just...
I had a very similar problem last year some time and was pulling my hair out trying to get it sorted. I eventually did it.
Change the USB port the iPhone is plugged into on your computer, restart computer and plug in iPhone (make sure it wasn't already) and put it in DFU mode whilst connected...
How do you prononce that? Randy? Registered Trademark Andy?
Odd.
I love pics like this - used to spend hours on end trawling trough the 28days later forum. Which admittedly isn't as adventurous as actually taking the pictures, but, yeah nice pics.
Bye.
