I have a squeeking/hissing noise coming from the drivers side front suspension.It makes this noise whenever the suspension is worked.Theres also a wind/whistling noise from the drivers side front when driving....could be connected?Car has only done 1500 miles and not been hammered Any ideas?

Ran out of fuel on m-60 last friday afternoon. My fuel computer said 39 mile range and l had done about 12 miles.Will there be any damage?Should l take it to the dealers?Has anyone else had this before? I was averaging about 38 mpg all the time after the display went blank

Didnt know the 182 has no well....and l thought it would have had a spare.

Only problem with a can of foam is that if the tyre is damaged on the side wall or has a large hole it cant be used.There is a memo with the drivers pack for the sport models but if its a slow puncture or a small hole then the foam is a great idea.I carried a tin of it in my old 205....Genius;)

Funkyjahooner.... There a well in the boot is there not? Thats where l would put the tyre.Its under the carpet in the boot......at the rear of the car. I agree....F1s are great in the wet.They were fantastic on my 205 1.9 GTi.

The point l was making was if you had a flat late at night or over a weekend you could call-out a tyre fitter......granted it might cost.But if you were on your hols or going long distance it would be a ball ache to sort.If you did call someone out they probably wouldnt have a spare to fit your...

Very unlikey to need a spare engine l think......or a trailer or a spare trailer. With comments like that you deserve a puncture........or maybe it wouldnt be you driving.Do you carry a spare driver????????

Would it not be a good idea to buy a spare Conti tyre,not fitted to an alloy,and put it in the wheel holder? This will keep the weight and cost down and if you get a puncture you could have it fitted at the road side or at the nearest tyre place...if you can limp there. Genius:)

Thats what l thought JAY172 but ive also noticed that the car in EVO which was run for a few months has 2 locks and also my side indicators are clear whereas the EVO car has orange ones !!! End of production of this model maybe?
