I would just get the RSTuner from fastchip as the k-tec one is a shocking price for the same thing.. Also the RSTuner has loads of other usable things on it and can buy add ons for airbag control etc.

Get a clutch cable change would be my first port of call. If no joy then a clutch change but these clutches are stiffish anyway but shouldnt be like you described.

K-tec induction kit gives a great sound just stupidly priced and a s**t fit. Why would you want the noise constantly in cabin?

Carb cleaner will destroy it as its too harsh. Proper cleaning kit is the best way to go about it. The K&N cleaning kit will work on it too cost is circa £14.

About 3mm in height is the only difference. Any 172/182 and mk2 dci springs will fit. 182 cup front shocks also have a 60mm bolt spacing compared to the 54mm on non cup 182s and 172/172 cup.
