Because the games are installed from the disc when creating a folder for them on the HDD. The patches verify that the installation has been digitally signed and isn't a pirated version of the game installed on the system. Probably.

Think that's always been the case, Sir. You forget I also have an R26, too. EA Access was a non-brainer though. I had Need For Speed still sealed in the box and BF4 which I then sold as they were both free to download in The Vault via EA Access. So for that £20 I'd already made £15.

I've downloaded the game via EA Early Access. Will give it a play tonight.

Yeah console is 30fps @1080P. PS4 certainly. PC can potentially run at 4K. Staggering.
