Nice, mileage is a tad higher than I would like and no cup spoiler, if you lived closer I'd come have a look though.
You only lowered the price yesterday so just give it some more time.
I've bought a cat C Focus before and to be fair it was brilliant but personally I wouldn't buy a hot hatch thats been binned.
It was difficult to shift it too come sale time.
From reading this thread it sounds to me that the owner is willing to throw 4k at the car to get it supercharged but seems very reluctant despite what everyone is saying to take it to a specialist that can fix the problem.
That imo is complete retardedness.
Repairs > mods
Can't remember tbh as I've been saving since October so just been buying essentials.
Next month will be pricey however, plans are:-
All estimates
172 Cup £4500 :D
Coilovers £400
Custom exhaust and decat £600?
Full Service £100
£5600
That's just to begin with, I am selling the...
If I was going to do what you've done tonksy which I was seriously considering I'd personally want to keep it looking a non sport that way you would surprise people, you could still put in the 172 running gear/wiring etc but then it's the cost situation that's why I've scrapped the idea.
If everyone thought that way there'd be no decent second hand motors.
In this case though I understand why he's doing it but it seems a shame to do it to a cup.
Definitely not.
It's a cat D with light front end damage so one would like to see this area more than the rest but yet theres not one picture showing the front and the paint on the bonnet has peeled showing primer.
+1 Precisely my point, I'm after a cup but I wouldn't even consider yours if it's not got the standard stuff on it. I could forgive the splitter but the wheels no no.
I've never done it myself but afaik it's a case of swapping the engine and box including mounts, then it's just a case of needing an ecu and a key, everything else should be recyclable.
Deal mate, you gonna be in Fleetwood again any time soon lol?
Oh yeah I forgot I think I still have yours. Ah well.
Serious if you ditch that, put blue led sidelights in and wear a white shirt with a black cardigan or sleveless jumper your there, officer WI7GLE. :rasp:
I did mate! When I saw the fluffy yellow dangling tree on the mirror I thought nah can't be so I opened it up going past the garage.
Rear strut brace? yes please, how much? :)
To my surprise I spotted Wiggle behind me going down the 40 road leading out of Fleetwood just past the Shell garage, took me ages to recognise you, I thought you were the Police at first with the lights on and running close to my behind.
Only knew it was you when you gave me the thumbs up and...
