If standard cup seats they don't have airbags in the seats. Not sure if you'll need resistors still or not though. Don't think you will. depends if your using original seat belts or harnesses If your using harness you'll need them for the pretensioners iirc. But if you do just go to Maplins...

Cliosport seats would be the easiest obviously, straight swap. Sparco seats, subframes you can get from Capital seating I believe - expensive though. Or you can have your own custom mounts fabricated for less obviously

I've never had any issues with crimp connectors tbh.

Yea they come off really easily. Just one big torx bolt attaching them onto the side of the mount. so as long as you have a hole on your new mounts you'll be fine. Wires are a bit more complicated, on the driver side, you'll have the pretensioner connector + seat belt warning beep plug wire...

Yea its been done a few times. Door card needs cutting where original speaker hole is and MDF speaker ring mount screwed to door. Fairly easy to do.

As said have you actually checked you've got it turned on? Rocker type switch on the panel to the right of the steering wheel on lower dash?

4 bolts to remove them. Two on each side. (per seat) No need to remove cat. Its removing the connectors/wires thats the pain!
