    Brake cooling done

No need to lacquer them, you don't want them to be shiny do you?

    Racing Blue Caliper Paint

Hammerite smooth blue is very close to RB iirc. If you want an exact match take it to a bodyshop, they won't charge that much to paint the calipers and they won't even need the car for long either. I got mine done flame red, look awesome and they aren't affected by brake dust...so far.

    Custom Decat

Got it booked in with Westgate Tyres in Morecambe on Friday. (Powerflow dealers) :D The guy said it would be £70 if it has one lambda sensor and £90 if it has two. Anyone confirm that as I'm not sure how many it has? Looking forward to it.

Sliver, Black or Chrome Alloys. i really cant decide

You won't add value to a car with modifications, especially the type you seem to be thinking of.

Different family of engines entirely but thanks for the effort, I hope the weather is dry tomorrow as I'll have to stick my head right under to be sure I think.

    Custom Decat

Is there anyone on here who's actually done this on a K4J as I'm being told it actually reduces power due to a lack of back pressure so could do with someone who knows for sure? Also the cat isn't built in with the manifold is it?

    Jacking Point, (Sill)

It gets harder because it's under more pressure maybe? I usually jack it up on the sill then place axle stands under that rail type thing that's been mentioned then remove the jack and place the wheel there.

    Custom Decat

That's a possibility, may consider it if I can't get anything closer, thanks. That thread has no relevance whatsoever, jog on. Almost forgot to mention she passed the MOT with flying colours so this is a definite now. :) Also for anyone with a 3/4 plate I have one of these and before the...

    Spacer help - 172

If you get hubcentrics you'll be fine, I've got 20mm all round on mine and I still think they could do with coming out a bit more but it would probably scrub a lot tbh as it already scrubs when cornering hard, saying that though mine is a non sport so I guess 172's have a different track width...

    Tyres Quote

National Tyres quote £82.18 and Blackcircles quote £79.95 for Contisports. Not interested in T1R's as I hear they are fast wearing and I already have two Contisports so I'd like to maintain the same pattern all round.

    brakes squeak !!!!

Mine do it now, just had new pads and discs fitted, only under light braking and the pads are Ferodo's so I assume it's either because they are new or because they are performance pads. I guess if yours are standard they must be new?

    Tyres Quote

Got a quote for 2 Continental Contisport Contacts fully fitted for £56.20+vat each. What do we think yay or nay? Also I believe these are the best to get excluding fast wearing soft tyres and track tyres am I right? Forgot to mention dimensions are 195/45/R16 80V

colour code or smooth the bumper

Depends what sort of theme your after, personally I prefer less is more/subtle mods so I would say CC it but if you wanna go for the euro look then do the smoothing, entirely up to you at the end of the day.
