When your companion is running around zombies and solidiers and bumping into them and making a load of noise, and the enemies aren't noticing anything, that automatically means it can't be 10/10 IMO. It's just looks terrible.
It's very enjoyable and a great game but its not a 10/10 game. No way.
The AI is dumb as f*ck, especially your companions. Also gets a little repetitive at times. Seems to be the same thing over and over.
Still, the story telling and overall game itself is very good.
Yeah, couple of things that are absolute musts are upgrading to shiv master (you can instantly kill a clicker if they grab you) and extra holster (save you spending a couple of minutes rummaging through your backpack in the middle of a battle with big f*ckers coming to kill you).
That is exactly it.
Nathan Drake was a "normal" guy but was capable, in the end, of killing thousands of people with a range of weapons. Add to that his canny knack of being able to jump over ledges and climb cliff faces.
Joel, in Last of Us, IS a normal guy. The game reflects this. Lack of...
MMO CarPG. Neat huh? Looks f*cking good.
"I'm assuming you have not mapped the entire USA?"
"It is the entire USA. Continuous. This isn't New York and then another map, Miami. You can drive from New York to Miami. You can drive from New York to Los Angeles. No loadings. It's streams."
What...
Yeah I'm kinda getting the "meh" feeling myself now.
Gutted.
I'm sure things will change when we start seeing more game trailers etc (for example, I'd only buy BF4 and say, Watch Dogs on next gen - I'm not paying for the current gen versions and then the next gen when they come out).
But...
Do you mean by that day cycles and weather both aren't in the game? Weren't a lot of folk pining for those, dynamic weather especially?
Yeah, there'll definitely be a HUGE number of cars ditched.
Truth is, the way they've done it, they aren't actually your games. You're paying a publisher to use them as they have the rights to what you can do with them afterwards.
