do you mean aux belt? as the water pump isn't run by the timing belt..if they charged you for a timing belt change you have been ripped off! (unless you had it done anyway??) broke a wire somewhere??

i would say its low on gas.

They are around 130mm down so 250mm extension bar is ample enough

FLOL so if a specialist off here hasn't done the timing it is wrong?? there are plenty of capable people who can do it. As chip said it would affect it in other ways not just full throttle.

Yep 4th gear is correct if they feel something is not right they back out anyway plus they have a computer plugged to the car taking constant readings of everything. so not to worry and tbh those things i listed is what i do... it doesn't mean you need to do the same your cars won't blow up...

This is what i do but i have a mild case of OCD lol;) 1.Tyre pressures 2.tyre condition 3.tracking spot on (some RR refuse cars that wander severely) 4. wheels balanced with no severe steering wheel wobble (some RR refuse cars that wander severely) 5.fresh oil and filter 6.coolant level...

Dave turn your lights on and off a few times and if i remember correctly you will hear a beep when they are disarmed!!

As what JackJack said Carb/brake cleaner to clean it. WD40 even when wiped away will leave a film for crap to stick too
