had the same promblem with my headlights, basicly they are s**t, got a hid kit from america for £160 ( www.hid-lights.com ) much much better, went for the x5 9000k and done the 8000k on angel eyes, few pics of the 9000k kit...

it can be done, i remember a red r5gtt with an 2 engines in , 1 in front and 1 in the back both with 250bhp.... i know its not a clio but they are very similiar cars.

its cool mate, as final_maxim said shows up all imperfections when its polished, was half expecting someone to say about the bonnet missmatch anyway:)

yep paint on the bonnet is fooked, losts it shine on the corner ( look in the 2nd pic at the reflection of the tree to see what i mean) also got a little dent on the rear arch. not bothered tho as im getting the whole car resprayed later in the year:D

thought id get a few pics of my efforts at polishing and waxing the hybid today, tried the meguiars 3 stage deep crystal stuff and gave good results imo. was very shocked at how much s**t came off when i used the 1st paint cleaner even tho it had just been washed and looked clean to my eyes...

my last one i was the 3rd owner, this one think im the 7th can't remember, ill put this 1 in.

which colour is on the passanger side headlight mate, looks very good and would go with my hid kit well...

you just have to order the lights that fit your car, then plug them in, easy stuff, done it twice now and on the angel eyes i had to file the light housing a little to make them fit, nothing major tho... if you are doing this on a mk2 u may wanna speak to someone called Has on here, think he's...

to me they seem a little brighter than the 8000k bulbs i had in the angel eyes, maybe because they had projector lamps in?? as you know full beam is now w**k compaired to the hids, but i never hardly use full beam so its not a problem, probably just use fullbeam to flash people now.

cost for the kit is £160 inc vat and del ( just ordered a set for a friend yesterday) got it from www.hid-lights.com went for the x5 kit, got 9000k lights on now but ive got photos with 8000k bulbs from before if you wanna see what they look like. i word of warning, ive heard that the x5 packs...
