bah, I'm out of hiding :p
I use both. I work in IT support.. and help manage Windows networks all day, every day. From big, big, big networks to small networks with no server and just Windows clients.
I can see the advantages of both OSX and Windows.
I enjoy using both.
Both work well.
I...
I get the same.
Sure it's a driver of some sort.. but I've just started not restarting it.
It used to be when I had my bluetooth adapter plugged in, but now it does it anyway.
Ahwell :p
I don't shut it down only to put new hardware in it tho at the moment
I refuse to ever comment on a Mac vs PC thread again.
I've yet to see any solid argument.. "They are s**t" "expensive garbage" is complete and utter rubbish to be fair ;)
Do some research.
Anyway, last post ever on the subject. :)
Haha,
I built a PC at work with a 939 Waterchill kit (Athlon FX-55 etc.. when it was first out).
Was well high spec everything when we built it.
One of the waterblocks cracked the other week.. :quiet:
I didn't fix it, but by all accounts, things got wet! :rasp:
All working now tho...
IMAP server, copy to server, copy back is how I did it. (if mail is to be stored by each person)
As for using an IMAP server, I do.. and it's setup in a way that I use Mail mainly (in OSX) but Thunderbird (I use it on Windows) uses the same folders for Sent, Drafts , Archive etc.. so they both...
Common problem - I think when I had this issue, it was to do with buffer sizes.
Google for it - as from what I remember, there was lots of info.. I had to make registry changes iirc.
Probably on a live system, that's true.. but for simple testing on a single workstation, it's definetly a good way to go.. purely because it should just work straight away and be fairly easy to install.
