i havent seen a vts engine before but if it does u shouldnt worry its the garages fault let them sort it , it shouldnt cost u a penny just abit of hassel with the car being of the road:(
get it sorted m8, i had an uno turbo which died lastyear because the cambelt was done to tight after a new one being fitted and snapped . i had the same noise coming from that but didnt know wtf it was untill it was to late . take it back to the place that changed them and say it wasnt like that...
did u notice any difference in power m8, i would love to have the sound of an open air i/k but u loose power and thats hard to comeby on these engines, ive curruntly got an itg panel filter in std airbox which most peep on here recommend but wouldnt mine having a viper if u get a bit of a gain...
forgot to say car has done 90k came with 5months mot no tax and in good condition, not a bad deal imo alot of car for the money, but i reckon it will b a thirsty b*****d...
my m8 just brought a mk3 golf vr6 2.8 (174bhp) but probley shed loads of torque for £600 on a k plate , will i be getting a goodpasting when we go for a blast, ive got a 1.8 16v at the moment but will b a 2.0 in 2 weeks will this evenout the odds???

hello mate, why not get a second hand one there only about £40 from infinicar. but beware u run a risk of it not fitting as the 1 i got didnt fit, think it was from an r19 16v, but im gettin my money back so not to worried , i ended up paying £282 for a brand new column supplied and fitted...

mines been doing this for months but ive just been down elite to sort my brakes and while that was getting done the bloke working on my car noticed the exhaust rubbing on the trailing arm so he heated the exhaust up and made a slight indent in the pipe where it was knockin.seems to have sorted it
ive already got a decat, scorpion system and itg panel filter on valver which ill be keeping aswell as exh manifold, before eng came out of williams it was rr at 134bhp atw, eng is standard at the mo.......
located under car , under driverside passanger seat. easy to change but be careful when u disconnect the pipe into the filter, make sure u clamp it first to stop the petrol pissing out like it did when i done mine:o ull need 2 new jubilee clips as well.
