172 cup are longer if i remember correctly, sod the mid bearing, its not needed, why do you need them out of interest?

normal, loads were like that, some had phs2 fuel systems, some had ali bonnets most had steel, some had shift light, it was luck of the draw what you got! some had small port phs2 engines, some had large port phs1 engines
