stop worrying about silly s**t, airflow and that b****cks, i've told you before, shut up and drive the f**king thing, leave all the technical stuff to me!
we have a customer with a Trophy who had his roof walked across, went to a dent place nearby, you CANNOT tell it was ever damaged!!
no offense, but a 100K mile 172 isn't going to be worth fixing, i'd live with the damage, its not at all bad!
its a phs1 shell just so you know (different headlight area, but i've got all the phs2 bits to weld on a la cup racers) yours isn't that knackered i hope!

then insert into block and tighten the bolts bit by bit, then torque up, replace crank seal MAKING SURE its all the way in (normally neeeds a...
oh that, are you pushing the crank seal in far enough? no one EVER does on most of the engines i see! I don't use the renault sealer either, if you can shove a torch up into the engine you can then check to see if its 100% sealed, any light coming through - start again!
make sure whoever does it changes the waterpump/coolant and the full aux kit, £560 ain't bad if that's included, most of the specialists on here are cheaper than that, not by a huge amount

the car still needs corner weighting and its got PF97's in the rear, we're going to add some nasty rear pads corner weight it all up and then it should be quick!
think James said the data from the track...
