It seems to be the lower dogbone mount that varies on the 225's I agree it's a pain in the arse lol Tbf I'm only planning on changing the upper gearbox mount and the upper engine mount if that's of any help to you?

Yeah I wouldn't even consider buying until I had a proper drive in one. Looks like I'll have to travel to get a drive in one though.

Sounds good. I seen a liquid yellow & a flame red one today down near Carlisle and they looked brilliant on the road. Makes my itch for one even worse haha.

A mate I used to work with had a yellow one running 320 bhp. I drove it a fair bit and never found it boring in fact it was pretty entertaining with that sort of power.

30+ would be decent. What's the ride like too? Is it quite harsh with the cup chassis?

I love that. You don't see many in silver even though it really suits it. I can't get a test drive in one of these anywhere in Scotland.

No you go 182 cup shocks. Renault parts direct are probably the easiest and most convenient to use for genuine parts now.

These have been out for the Megane 225/r26 for a while now and they seem to get good reviews. I fancy fitting them to my 225 but I hate cabin vibration and I don't know whether these cause extra vibration or not.

It is mate yeah. I swapped the wheel Witt Dave for an all black retrimmed one then I bought the wheel that's fitted into Danny's off Dave when I first bought the car.

Sounds like they're the same as the 1*2 xenons. I've got Osram night breaker bulbs fitted and they're pretty good tbf.

This. I've owned a 225 Cup with 280 bhp and I never once felt it needed an lsd. I now own a 225 Trophy and I really appreciate how good these cars are as standard hence why I won't be playing about with it.

R26 has a rear anti bar & the suspension it supposedly revised over the cup suspension which is fitted to the F1. F1's only came in blue & in black which is extremely rare! They also have silver brake calipers all round & blue recaro's but be careful as some 225 Cup's have the same interior and...

Just fitted vredstein ultrac vorti to my Trophy. Can't recommend then enough especially at the price they sell for.

172 Cup shock & sportline springs is a great setup.

I have to admit I completely agree. Don't get me wrong the one I owned handled great but it just wasn't a drastic enough difference from my 172. I ended up selling mine after 6 months because the solid ride quality was doing my head in. They look amazing when they're clean though..
