Williams had no input apart from the name!
0-60 is the same, but, the Williams needs a gear change to 3rd at about 58..
Point to point, the Williams is noticably quicker.
Well, I got my mounts from Renault - probably worth paying extra..
My dogbone mount is a HillPower Uprated one, tho.. which is worth having, but dunno if they do any none-16v/Williams ones.
You could always just get to a Renault specialist and they'll change it for ya using Renault parts...
Well, gearstick moving loads is a good sign that it's had it.
When you accelerate, gearstick shouldn't move at all really..
You have any Renault specialists near ya? Probably a better bet!
Yea.. sounds like it to me also.
As I said, changed all 3 of mine and it was so much better.. but mine were quite worn. You might just need a dogbone mount or something!
Engine mounts probably.
If engine is moving loads, probably dogbone mount.. (guessing, but they do seem to go)
When in gear, and you accelerate, does the gear stick move loads?
I changed all three mounts on my Williams (including uprated HillPower dogbone mount) and it's rock solid now!
Yea, point to point, it's rapid.
On Paper, like, to 60, it doesn't look very quick for what it is.. but standard it hits the limiter at 58 (or something close) which doesn't help. The straight line speed is where it looks "normal" for a hot hatch..
I guess that's why Evo loved it so much...
Well, I'd get the same ones again personally.
They are pretty nice from what I remember.
Some I think you have to be careful cus' they arn't road legal - the Renault ones definetly are..
Good price. I wouldn't sell mine for *anything* near that! Heh.
They are quiet.. depending on exhaust - standard everything it's silent.. until you hit 2nd stage on the throttle.. ;)
They are quick - and you don't always feel it.. which is kinda weird, but the power hitting in at 2k is the...
I think it'd be crazy to get rid just because of the brakes - they're relativly cheap to fix compared to most things on a Valver.
2nd car is definetly an option.
The prices have dropped so much lately which is a shame - getting it MOT'd and fixed and sold would be an option, and depending what...
I'd make loud noises if someone rolled me over some of the speed bumps.
Outrageous - ones near us, well, I know for a fact my Williams would get stuck.. it's so sharp! (They're the plastic fake things).
