You have to have it in the middle of the windscreen, so the laser detector is just above the wipers for the best chance of it detecting any laser stuff.
You *can* get them tested - I think if you goto Blackspot (People who make the RA) then they test it for ya..
In a review in AutoExpress,
The Road Angel got 5/5
The Snooper got 3/5 I think?
If you have a 172/182 you *might* need the extra antenna, as the windscreen blocks the signal otherwise..
I have the Road Angel, and its great IMO.
If the RN is a Phase3, then yes.. it will work. (Should, as the 1.2 RN had a rev counter I think and also the DIET engine)
Else, you might need them converting and a wire putting in to the eDIS module. Cost me £75 to get them converted..
Well,
I once used the 3 Stage stuff on my 1.2.. and it gave the best finish ever.
When I get my Williams back, Im going to do it again on that. Took me 6 hours last time but worth it.
You can turn up and get in..
Dunno if you can turn up and get on the track.

Dunno, but I think it happened on 172s too.. (mk1).
Is Titanium the same colour as used on the Mk1 172? I cant remember why it happened, but Im 90% sure people posted about it then!
Haha.
172 Vs Valver/Williams.
Gotta love it..
You cant tell me a Black Dynamique which has been lowered, coming about 100m behind ya dont look like a 172.
HIC were cheap when I was looking at a Valver..
I ended up going with Elephant on Williams tho, because not many other companies would consider it (20 at time) and they seemed OK with it; they still charged me a fortune tho, haha.
You might be able to get one for cheap, but Im guessing that if you dont fit it yaself, itll be expensive.
Looking at mine with no engine in it, its simple.. but add an engine, and I can see it being a right pain.. fair few hours job I think.
