i think theyre bonded in the mk2's so id let a professional get it out.
you can try welding wire and sawing back n fourth to cut the sealer, but you'll need to make a hole in it first to get it started
seen a lot lot worse.
i like the back end as far as modified cars go, very smooth, numberplate needs to be at one of the sides though, looks weird central
cheesegraters ruin it for me though
find it hard to believe that he used the tiniest bit of filler considering it looks 2-3 inch in on the arch. im sure he did panel it as best as he could, but thats a dead panel, its stretched too much and would require too much filler to be repaired (unless it was a job on the cheap)
if it...
is he repairing that rear quarter?
if so, that cars quarter is gonna be filler pretty much 1 side to the other and have ripples like the ocean.
it needs a new quarter skin
sprayer probably thinks you want them masking out. with the high build primer, painting and laquering, it would be difficult.
if youd have told him that you want the silver re-drew back on with a paintbrush or touch up pen pre laquer, then hed have said no problem
wouldnt do it with aerosols as its simply too big to get a good finish
if you got a compressor and that then id just goto your local paint supplier (yellow pages etc) or try autopaint.co.uk
colour? looks like versailles to me, but could be wrong
or if you want it lower, maybe just add the ph3 fogliights to yours, colour code the bumper and add a seat ibiza or laguna splitter?
they line up with the phase 3 curves perfectly
theres a phase 3 bumper which is already colour coded and has the fog lights
i had it on my maxim 1.4s sport and im pretty sure its the same bumper for the 1.8 RSI
do you know if you got the loom there for the foglights?
this is the bumper btw
pretty easy to get off
couple of 10 mils inside the bumper by the wings, some torx across the top by the bonnet edge, then a couple underneath the bumper too i think
16v bumper fits but it flares out slightly so its best to get the 16v wings and 16v arch liners too
will need 16v grille too as...
you strip down the inside of the tailgate, unclip the central locking, probably the heating for the screen and pull it all through the hole where the rubber gromit is, then drop it off
Hard disk boot sector invalid
Press 'H' to retry Hard Disk, any other key for floppy.
get that on boot up, can get into BIOS, tried altering boot sequence but still same thing, pressing any key just brings the same quote back up again.
anything else i can try before i reinstall windows xp on...
