Chaps,
I've had some tearing in onscreen graphics with the two GTX460's - but only in a few games. Of the ones I've played over the last fews days since getting the SLi bridge, just Skyrim and Company of Heroes of shown tearing. BF3, Shogun 2 and everything else have been fine.
My gfx card...
Should be installing this over the weekend at some point. Unfortunately, not into my PC however.... :(
Being connected to three 27" Iiyama screens too, so hopefully it will look pretty impressive!
Never really understood the need for semi-naked people/slightly homo-erotic pictures on gfx...
....would have been approx 6pm ish. I 'think' it might have been a 172 Cup with aftermarket exhaust, but only caught a glimpse of it. I did hear it first though. :)

Chaps - what's the consensus regarding the Physx settings within the nVidia control panel when using SLi?
It appears that you can set the Physx primarily to either nVidia card in the SLi setup. Or, leave it solely in the possession of the CPU to handle.
Are there any pros/cons of a particular...
Chaps,
Can a replacement be pretty much any standard optical drive? Or does it have to be a specific one?
The one at work has finally decided to say F.O to any disc you wish to insert.
Cheers,

Anyone tried this yet? It's not officially released, but the demo is out. I've put a couple of hours into it and so far and I'm quite impressed - YT clip below...
It plays in the 3rd person, which is never one of my favourite aspects - but I have to say that it works really quite well with...
....thread opened to everyone, especially wozzaa, scone, Gareth, Adam, etc....
My nephew currently has F1 2011 on an i7-based PC with an older-gen nVidia card (a GTX275, iirc?) - powering a 26" Iiyama monitor.
He's keen to get this in triple monitor setup (assuming the game runs with it) - so...
Really am loosing the will to live with this. It's a straight-forward function. Assign a PC/server as a KMS licence host. Apply licence key file for Windows 7, Office etc to said KMS host. KMS host liaises with DNS and any PCs on the network with Windows 7, Office etc activate with the KMS host...
Anyone else tried this? I nabbed the demo off Steam and it's really quite good. Very quirky, a bit weird but bizarrely involving. The narrative and music alone are worth downloading the demo for, imo...

Kept nice and original with non-amphasite alloys, standard bullets and Dale Wintons in the headlamp units.
Across the way from our new depot. Nice and shiny too..... then it rained. :(

Right. Without resizing and ratio issues, I'm used to finding a jpg, right-clicking and selecting 'Set as desktop wallpaper.'
What process is involved on Macs? I've just spent over 20mins getting lost in System Preferences and attempting to drag and drop the relevant jpg. The first few Google...
Really. Do we really need to develop utter horse like this....?

Some clever sod managed to draft up the Helmsdeep setting from Lord of The Rings and chuck it into L4D2. Complete with the original music from the film, you simply have to hold out against hordes of the undead. Stupid, silly but really quite fun. Apparently (unlike the typical Survival Mode map)...
Complete with white alloys - which looked brilliant against the red of the bodywork.
Looked like it had a For Sale sticker in the window too.
Approx 4pm.

Crikey. Just been dropping a car off in Darwen and in the space of 15mins, spotted four RS Clios....
**** LJA - silver Ph.1 172
**** GWX - arctic 182
F*** *** (missed the reg unfortunately) - silver 182
L44 *** - silver Ph.2 172
**** LJA - silver Ph.1 172 - again, going the opposite way...
Is this normal? I know it's 'expected' to draw a fair amount of current in order to power the CPU and the onboard gfx. But that little white PSU is seriously hot - just about comfortable enough to hold in the palm of your hand.
Can anyone else confirm that their PSU is the same?
Cheers,
