Morning gents, Well, as far as my understanding goes, these are not cup shocks. They have the green sticker on them instead of the yellow/blue one that the cup shocks come with and they are also oil filled rather than the gas cup shocks. These have been bought by going into my local Renault...

hey bud. I just fitted mine 2 nights ago. wanker of a job but I'm sure you know that. on mine, the only part of the rack that needed a hole was at the steering box bush mount however, both bushes I got had holes. J

Shocks are sent back to Renault for inspection now....not sure what will come of that. Renault workshop inspected the work that I did and are happy with it and quite bemused as to why the shocks could do that. Only thoughts they had might be damaged top cups......but as i said, both of them? And...

Are there any dealers who would be willing to check some brand new ph2 172 shocks for me to see if they make this noise? I would be very grateful............i'd send an e-hug ;) J

Both 4 month old shocks are the same and did it from the day they were bought...... Made me think duff batch or something? J

The first one i "squish" is from 2003, the second is from 2013 :/
