Was partly that (pain in the arse on the drive with 2 axle stands) but also the fact I now don't have the use of the drive and couldn't afford to rent anywhere big enough to do it. Least I'll have piece of mind.

Very true. Just re read they don't fit under 15's anyway :( Was going to give them a try in a few months if I've got the money for brackets but 15's > fancy brakes.

Can anyone that has the brembo kit measure up so we know what sort of offset is needed. I've got a friend with a set of calipers that I can have off him when I next see him but don't want to have to run massive spacers to clear them, iirc my offset is about et37.

I had to buy a battery the other week :( I'm sure you'd rather hear that you don't need one but if you do the battery I bought was a Bosch S5, really highly rated but expensive. However I found it on ebay (brand new from a shop on there)for £56 delivered. Seller was brilliant too.

Fair play mate, I was just curious if the lip Nissan said they had included on the alloy was overkill or not. If it's a tried and tested alloy then you can't say fairer than that :) They look absolutely awesome.

I remember on TopGear something along the lines of the alloys on a GTR being designed with a special rim to hold the tyre on during hard cornering. Is that not a concern with the new alloys or do you not intend to track it etc?
