Got in my car this morning and was told by the temp sensor it was 27deg...
i was just in the middle of removing coat and gloves to put on my summer shorts and realised that chances are its wrong!
27deg!!! come on....not even close...whats up with it? new sensor required maybe?
Sports cat, good idea, slipped my mind actually. Expensive though!
182 mani + cat = even more expensive and much more work involved.
What does the noise of the ITB's got to do with keeping the cat? dont mind it being noisey...car is already noisy so itb's wont bother me...this thread isnt...
Morning all.
Will be picking up my Jenvey Bodies this weekend. Fitting in April while im on holiday. Just curious as to how the car will be with the Standard Cat on.
ive always been adament that i keep the car road legal in every way. The Cat is a restriction power wise and i was wondering...
i had mine done at jamsport, top guys.
a proven bhp increase and torque increase of 8bhp and 8lbft torque IIRC (7 or 8 cant remember)
Rolling roaded before , then after, same day within about an hour of each other.
Car pulls better and nicer to drive :)
it seems a lot now, payin £450, for somehting that youve already got and chances are will be ok. but its that part of you that wishes you shouldve gone for the forged rods...
while its apart you may aswell...bullet proof engine almost.
at least you know that if you up the anti later on with...
peice of mind tells you that spending £450 on some rods or £1000-£1500 on a new engine when it go bang at 8k, is the sensible thing to do...
do it once, and do it right....
dont understand people who drive round with mountains of snow on there car...just push it off...
those who have it piled high on the boonet are the worst though, can barely see!
On behalf of my brother, who lives in Rugby.
He has the above to consoles for sale on ebay at the moment, his wife is pregnant (planned pregnancy so no dodgy excuse) therefore selling the consoles because he has to sort out a new nursery...bless!
Both in 100% perfect condition, can vouch for...
agree with the above, cracking dirver, an excellent all rounder...cant see him winning the tittle this year though. I belive kibica will be up there this year...with the likes of massa and hamilton.
i have the DS2500's and im very happy. in fact i was that impressed by the DS2500 pads and HC discs that i think they are better than the highspec 4 pots i used to run on my saxo track car.
Well done to you Sir. Cant get a better deal than that.
im sure the maps work well. Dont think anyone would doubt that after a trial. but your 200 figure was optimistic in the first instance but i think youve redeemed yourself quite well.
I know that if i wasnt going for ITB's then i'd be up...
worth noting that sometimes the bearings seperate into pieces. When i removed my old disc part of the old bearing staying place, ithen fitted new disc and couldnt get the pads in. so make sure the old bearings are off complety before fitting new disc!
wasnt pleasant trying to figure out why...
dead simple mate, you'l have to remove the caliper from the carrier. two bolts. will be quite tight. Take your pads ouf first then remove the caliper.
once they are off you'l need to undo the hub nut. will be very tight. to do this i put two wheel bolts into the hub as normal (without wheel...
yeah i have them on mine mate, very good little items. and the fog surrounds, and thier number plates, all very good. Bic fitted mine as they were the first set but look spot on.
Mirrors have started to dull but only because i havent polished them up recently.
