Oh and just to add....J.Clarkson did not even like the 182...let alone have one in his top ten garage....but hey...what does he know..;)

i hill climb and sprint a 5 turbo 1 220 bhp. this would rag any 172/182 over 1/4 mile...it would out handle any clio...and its 23 years old... the vee would leave any 172/182 between 90 and 140 mph without a doubt...i have owned/driven both. the 182 of omars beet me by 0.6 of a second...

i put nos on for 500 quid..got 50 bhp...and another 15 quid will give me 75 bhp increase...BARGAIN!!!!

dont get blue...too common..

cam belt 72k or 5 years. plugs will not go the distance...change them at 36 k you will have no problems. fuel filter at 36 k also...we have seen them in a right state by this time.

usually have to have aircon to have pollen filter.

carefull...some were 13k or 2 years,

all filters/ brakes /plugs...quite a big service. cam belt if 5 years old...

fan belt 1/2 hour mate...bit fiddly... matrix is dash out mate...sorry. rocker gasket should take about 2 hours start to finish...hope that helps. my garage is near exeter if it is not too far...give us a shout if you need anything. Alex
