I run my cables down the right hand side of the dash (behind the door rubber). All out of side and a darn sight quicker than removing dash top!

No need to take dash off to do it. Run the wires down the side of the dash and underneath it.

I think Fred sorted out a deal with a refurber. It costs something like £35 per wheel to have them powder coated in a colour of your choice. They will be looking good as new once done properly.
