Todays update;
For years my seatbelts have looked dirty, i remember when i bought it back in 2008 they didnt look very clean then either and always wanted to clean them but didnt really know how to go about it. I have heard of hanging them out the door and jet washing, but tbh i didnt fancy...
My carbon splitter has been on years and the condition of it now is appauling, when i bought it, it was glossy and the weave looked perfect. Over time, it has faded and gone a white colour whoch has really spoilt the look of the whole front end. I have wanted to freshen it up for a while now, so...
I wouldnt let mine go for any less than £4k either tbh. CS really does drive the price down, I see 1.2 55 plate clios going for 3k so why would a 182 be worth the same. Im the 2nd owner of mine which i bought almost 5 years ago in 2008 and even then it took me 3 moths of looking to find this...
All a load of rubbish as they end up charging whatever they want. We signed up to £37.50 for 12 months yet half way through started paying £48.50. I get emails all the time saying price increase by 50p etc etc
Sounds great mate, enjoy your new life over there.
Yes my mate said you can travel hours without seeing people in some places. If they do go next year, me and my other half will make the trip to visit them which will be exciting, although I'm not sure how well i will cope with the flights! Ha
Keep posting mate, good thread.
What made you move to NZ, i take it you have moved with your parents? My best mate is saving up at the moment with his other half to make the move also, his other half already lived there for a year and he went out for a month to visit her. They love it over there.
Cheers fella. I actually like it when spaced correctly also, to me and people who know me, although yes it is a 55 plate, it is still clear what it says. The fact i had wanted one for the past 8 years combined with the excitement of finally getting one is why i bought both a correct and...
Anyone any idea why this happens. In the note app that comes as standard, I've made a few notes, then they seem to disappear. This happened a while ago then randomly one day they were all there again.
Austin
K tec are ridiculously overpriced mate, look elsewhere. You should be paying no more than £50 for a boss. And you need to get a momo boss, dont get an omp one. Also, it doesn't matter what make wheel you get, they are all the same fitment and will fit to the momo boss. Try demon tweeks for the...
That looks quite nice, the interior looks really smart.
If your not bothered about owning a car then those type of schemes are perfect. The same as people who work for Nissan get, but the Nissan scheme also coveres insurance too.
Your youngen looks mischievous in the 5th picture, as though he's thinking about driving off and laughing at you at the side of the road. Then in the 6th pic it actually looks like he's checking if you left the keys in the ignition haha.
There is honestly a load of cars in my area spaced like this mate. Like you said, its when people try and change the actual characters or put (.'s) in etc that it is recognised more.
Good luck with the auction Tim. I will report back any issues, although i intend on putting the correctly spaced plate on anyway as it still looks good that way also. My name is quite a rare name and people who know me recognise what the plate says straight away, but i understand why those may...
Im not sure it would be possible to buy a plate if it wasn't going on a car of the same age. The DVLA ask for the current registration plate of the car so if it was, for example a 54 plate, the certificate would come back with a refusal. Of course, my 182 is a 55 plate to start with.
Im known as Austin, not AP is the simple reason why mate. Personally not a fan of plates made up of initials.
I fully understand the spacing issue, as mentioned I have a standard set also. As a side note though, spaced incorrectly or incorrect size plate (3/4) the result is the same either...
