Hi bossko.
Very good point what you have made about the tyres, it certainly does make a difference. Those tyres are very expensive, how much did you pay?
in response to gold wheel, my opinion is no, you will make it look a mess. Either silver or anthracite is the only decent looking option...
Not much i don't ink, i think 205 are better as there is more tyre so wider on the road. I don't like 205's though, they look huge. There going on trophy turinis.
Great effort, looks very clean. I do agree with the comments about the tow strap and orange badge, it would look a million times better without. (Constructive comment)
Does sound like the pump, mine did exactly that, then completely stopped working like you say. I had to replace the full pump, quite expensive iirc, used genuine renault part around £48. Also a mess on swapping it over, a mate had to do mine for me.
Does anyone have enough wheel sealant to do 4 wheels they could sell to me in a spare pot. Im getting 4 new tyres back on the turinis so have cleaned them but would like to seal before i have them fitted. I don't want to buy a full tub as they aren't perfect anyway and only need to do them this...
Has anyone used Hankook K107? My local garage can do 4 fitted for £248.
The nankangs would work out at 214 fitted so for an extra £34 im thinking the Hankooks would be a better option.
I do completely agree with you mate and im going against everything i normally say myself. However, i have 4 tyres, mot,tax and insurance coming up all in one go. Im debating declaring it sorn at the moment but either way i want it to have an mot on time and for that i need new tyres which is...
cheers for that fella, at £40 a tyre thats great for me at the moment and if they have a hard compound thats perfect. Like i said, I don't drive silly and currently cover very little miles anyway.
If nankangs are hard wearing i might just get those as it will be a lot cheaper. Before anyone says it, cheap doesnt mean better etc i know but as mentioned i only drive aprox 70 miles a week we are shortly getting a new car in the house that i will be using.
Thanks for the review on them mate, appreciate it. Agree, that is a fantastic price, for my 16's though it will be £240 which I suppose isnt too bad for 4.
Thats what I had in mind. I know you cant really say how long they last, i just want something that wont wear as quick as the T1Rs do.
Also, i cant find anywhere cheaper than camskill, can anyone think of anywhere cheaper?
Im confused over which tyres to go for, i need all 4 replacing. I do not drive like an idiot and probably only covering 70-100 miles a week.
Toyo T1R are the worst tyres ever imo, the sidewalls wear down instantly.
which of the following would you say are the better tyre and have a harder...
It looks immaculate to start with lol. But that looks like its going to be amazing job on the respray. I wouldnt want to drive it when its done incase it gets a chip.
Cheers mate, it makes a nice difference. I have litteraly been meaning to do them since i got the car. I have specifically waited for a sunny day so they would be able to dry out, my other half bought me some cleaning things back in feb for my bday and have had the nail brush since then to do...
