This would be a really nice clean 1.2 if you take off the tacky pointless mods. You have done a good job mate, but the registration plate looks horrendous, why have you moved it? Just put it where it is meant to be. Also, the yellow fogs are years old now and imo look daft.
if you change the...
Lol at everyone saying it would not be worth it and it would need a full restoration. Who cares? All it needs is for someone to get it running and DRIVE it. I bet a good clean would make a huge difference.
My other half has them on her 1.2 clio. Theres 4 little black circles spread out across the upper plastic part of the rear bumper. They sit flush and i have to admit they are actually a help when reversing in tight spaces. Even reversing back on our drive with my car at the back is so much...
Can anyone help with this....
connects2 plugged in to a Tuner list standard headunit. However, im only getting an option for Radio or CD Player. How do i get the connects2 ipod option?
Its been a while since I looked in this thread. Even better than last time i looked through the thread. Thumbs up Lordman, this is how a clio should be done.
My 55 plate 182 has never had the fluid changed yet, and only one change of front and rear discs/pads and it has been and still is fine. As mentioned though i will be changing it all this year.
I bet the super blue would cause problems if it was in the car without being changed for the same...
Why do people bother putting this in their road cars anyway? Im sure its just like every other typical bandwagon, for some reason on CS a lot of people use this and it seems to catch on and people presume this is the best fluid/ only fluid to use. Il be changing all my discs and pads this year...
Today I decided to use the 3M headlight restoration kit I bought a few months back.
5 minutes into it, I started to worry that I was going to mess up my headlights, anyway I have seen quite a few threads on this and remained calm and followed the simple instructions provided.
They weren't the...
No mate, nothing at all. Apart from renewing the brakes as I mentioned, and any other maintenance work that may be needed. I haven't made any real changes to it for a long time tbh. My days of spending money on it for anything other than maintenance things are over. I love it how it looks, and...
I was looking at your thread the other day mate, it gets better with every update you make.
I have mine serviced every year, I think I've only done around 6k this year and I'm now using it even less.
Within the next couple months like mentioned above, i will be having all the discs and...
Hows it going mate? @BlackGold
Its on 72k now, still quite low for the age though. Ive always said it, and i know things change as time goes on, but to this day I still never plan on selling it. Eventually it will be garaged as at some point I will be getting a diesel.
The annual service is now due on the clio.
Every year I buy my own parts and change the filters over myself but go to my local garage to have the oil and oil filter changed. I like to buy the parts myself to ensure only the best/genuine parts are used.
Thanks to Adam renaultwolverhampton for...
Would people change the dogbone mount to poweflex? I see there are some on ebay by a company called evol engineering who make their own, what are those like?
My other half dropped hers in the bath last week and it messed up straight away. She left it in a tub of rice overnight and it now works like normal again
