I get about 320ish I think.
Thats 30/40/60/motorway driving.
If I took it easier on the motorway Im sure I d get a few more miles, but I tend to stick the cruise control on at 88mph.
Hey, welcome to our home.
What colour did you go for?
Did you get the spoiler pack as well as the suspension?
Ive had my 182 for about 10days and covered 1500miles near enough.
Has to be said.
but why not consider a 350z? ie if he has the 25k needed for a V6, why not stay with the japenese and pick up a nice v6, rwd, 4 seater?

True - after one more trackday theyll all be knackered!
Exactly, normally the fronts wear 4/5 times quicker than the rear.
So most replace only the fronts, otherwise youll need to replace all four instead of just the worn fronts.
Theres no extra power from pressing it past the "kickdown" point as you describe it.
I cant believe no one uses the search :( Its been discussed SOOOO many times!
Think about it another way.
The light is ON as a warning, therefore when it flashes and esp is working, then its warning you that you are slipping.
Therefore the light on is warning you that you are (in theory) more likely to slide.
Yes, that last 1cm makes no difference in "petrol power".
So it doesnt change the acceleration etc, it is simply a switch to disengage the cruise control. Hence its always there, its not "activated" as such by having the cruise control on.
Its on all of the 172/182/cup becuase they use the...
AndyG,
In normal "speed holding" cruise control you can use the "normal accelerator" travel to increase speed.
But in speed limiting mode (light is red) then you have to go past the hesitant point to override the speed limiter etc.
Ive now covered 1000miles in my 6day old car and loving...
I hit 1000miles today.
Not bad for a car that I only got on saturday.
I worked out that 1000/144hrs (time Ive owned car) = 6.9mph average!

Mine seems ok, and I love it!!
Its sooo cool for motorway cruising, or even setting it at 30 for speed camera avoiding. :)
Im sure it helps fuel consumption too if you use it to speed up/slow down by watching the road ahead etc.
