There was 2 182s, 2 cups but no normal 172s.
Far few 16v and Williams, and the 1.2/1.4 lads put in a good show too.
My 182 pushed 112 at the wheels, and was I very disappointed. Then we ran it again later in the day and it pushed 130 at the wheels, which is about 171 at the fly, so still not...
OMG!!
Birmingham is full of em, drove a different way home tonite and the Origin B2 was going bananas and kept reporting em.
Not seen many of em elsewhere.
exactly Gary, like you said, its £1500 below list, you dont loose money on ya p/ex whilst waiting, and you get it for the summer. PARTY ON!!! hehe

Im not disagreeing, but 14k is still £1500 cheaper than "list price" so its still a saving.

There are a number of us that have traded 172s for 182s.
There is a noticable improvement (imho) and like Yugguy said, if you can stretch to a 182, then Id recommend it.
I had an 03 plated 172 and picked up my 04 plated 182 2 weeks ago, and have now covered almost 2000miles in it, loving...
As long as the engine is warmed up, then there shouldnt be a problem.
The problems occur when the engine is ragged before its warmed up and tghe oil is circulating properly.
I had a Diesel Primera, and one day though, hmm I fancy a new(ish) hot hatch.
So hence bought a 14month old 172, then swapped it for a brand new 182 :D
Aye 10 months.
I wanted to go for the 10 months, coz within 10months, I will "lose" 2 of my claims, so hence next year (touch wood) will have 2yrs NCB and only 2claims (1fault, 1 non fault)
My wallet is now £800 lighter.
But to be fair, Im quite pleased, seeing as Im only just 25 with 4 previous claims and its insured for street parking. Ive also declared the Viper induction kit, so its all legit. Obviously the 182 is a grp 16 car as well, so all in all I pretty chuffed...
