Cheap way of improving suspension, is the eibach spring kit, about 110quid I think, do a search on here.
I get the same bang.
If I take it to the red line in 2nd, then let off suddenly there is an almighty bang, Im sure its just the engine moving on the mounts.
Dont remember it doing it on my 172 tho.
Bet they rolled their eyes when they found the arch liner rubbing, thinking "What a n00b, thinks he knows about cars" :D

Just coz I was looking back through my threads and I found it interesting howd Id come from a Primera to a 172 promising to keep it standard for a while.
then I go and swap it for a 182!! :D

As for keeping the 172 standard, I only kept it for 3months then swapped it for a 182!

Yeah, my car came from Hemel Hempstead, but it was registered in St Albans becuase that was where the dealers headoffice was located.
Makes no odds really. It just signifies the DVLA office it was registered with.
