Mine was a Friends/Family deal, so in order to get the 30% off, it had to be a new order etc, not a stock car.
So for 10,800 on the road, with cup spoilers and cup suspension I couldnt argue really with delivery dates! :D

I think not Kev, seems like a normal "bitter owner", someone that hasnt driven and compared the 182 against a Cup.
Yes the cup may still be Slightly quicker (if at all), but the extras on the 182 more than make up for any differences.
AND ffs, Id hardly call the 182 a "warmish hatch", hell...
What about getting a 14" skinny wheel, you know just enough to get you home.
Actually, I think you can even get some 16" steel skinnies, I had one in the Ford Focus C-Max as a spare wheel.
As for reducing the price, perhaps try kicking off with Reno Customer Service and see if they will discount it more because of hassles, but play on the fact that "you are willing to try reno again and hope it was a one off bad car".
It does sound like youve had more than you fair share of...
Yeah, like Lee says, according to number of 182s on here, Arctic seems the top colour.
Yet according to Jeremy T, and dealers Ive spoken to, Black gold is the top colour.

hmmmm, I thought bedford was north of london ;)
See my reply in the other 182 thread you posted in Kev :), but for me, even the warranty extension was worth trading for.
I swapped from a 172 that had 20months warranty left, to a brand new 182 (on order) with the full three year warranty. Seeing as the last warranty repair my 172 had was...

Heres why I changed. I had an 03 172 for from new which Id covered 22300 miles in. It was an import. I got offered a good trade in, and got the 30% F & F on the 182. I now have a brand new UK car with no miles on the clock and 3 year AA cover...
My thoughts too Lee, the starter kits at 100ish are plenty enough for me.
Like you say well be starting with a good surface, not a 10yr old worn surface that needs to be bought up to scratch.
gah, I hope not.
Mine is due for 12th July delivery, and I really hope its on time.
Too late for me to call the dealers, so will have to wait and see, maybe call them over the weekend.
aye, I think a lesser willed person would have let them get away with it tho, so ir was a gamble that didnt work for them this time, but mebbe next time.
Also, by pre-reg-ing it, the dealer KNOWS he will hit target and the bonus for doing so may well be higher than the hit he will be taking on the 182 sale.
Just beware tho, its effectively buying a second hand car (in the eyes of the law), as Big Iain found out when he had hassles with his 172.
