lol at thread, and where its gonna lead.
TomClio182 and Si172 had a "race" on a private track with a 182(Cupd) and a 172Cup. Both with only induction mods, and it was neck and neck apparently over a number of runs.
But I think its fair to say, that a 182,172 or Cup could do another 172,182...
You wanna look at how you launch the jetski.
Coz, if you are thinking of slipways then I dont think a 1.2 will be strong enough to pull up the jetski/trailer up a wet slippery slope etc?
Guys,
I removed the CD Changer from my 172 to install in my 182, but I left the cable there.
How much is a new cable to go between the headunit and the cd changer unit?
Cheers,
Lee.
The 172 has gone, p/exd against the 182.
Ive ordered the following:
Arctic Blue 182
Cup Spoilers
Cup Suspension
Ive also got my "Animal" from the muppets, as used in the 182 advert
Estimated delivery time... 1st/2nd week in july, will get a better indication on Monday/Tuesday when...
Yeah, I took the Viper off my 172 today as I handed over the 172 as deposit for my forthcoming 182.
I have to say, the car felt dead and far less responsive than with it. The Viper is soooo getting fitted to my 182 when it arrives.
I just did an online quote for my forthcoming 182 with elephant.co.uk
Im 25, 1yr NCB, 4 previous accidents (3fault) and it came out at 647quid
Bloody bargain if you ask me :D
Anyone can find out this information with a current reg plate.
HPI check (even basic one) will tell you previous reg marks and VIN number along with past history etc.
Dont be too worried about it.
Aye,
Connor (iirc) had his insurance voided because he had alloys that werent declared, even tho the alloys had nothing to do with teh reason for the claim.
I think youll find that Trading Standards have tried and tested and found it to be bullsh*t.
At the end of the day, the manufacturers would have used ecoteks if they were worth having.
I have the K-Tec Twin 3" and love it.
It is for sale now, coz Im hoping to buy a 182, which obviously the exhaust doesnt fit.
The K-Tec units have a lifetime warranty, and David at K-Tec will replace it etc if ever you have a problem.
So if you want to save some money, mine is for sale...

You "let" her drive it?;)
