Looking to get an 11" air whilst the interest free thing is still running. Happy with the HD size and the next size HD up is a considerable cost, but not sure what processor to go for.
The difference is £150.
Not entirely sure what the difference in speed etc will be, so any user opinions...
Anyone else have issues with there iphone 4 and call faliure?
Mine has done it a few times, and the misses phone does it more often. Both iphone 4 handsets.
Funny thing is, that even though it is saying call failed, the person at the other end of the line has missed calls.
Anyone had this issue?
Basically got an older one from work (with drive) and want to sell it so i can get a macbook air! No idea of how much older ones are valued it? its 4GB, 320gb SSD and Duo 2 core. Also comes with Snow leopard and keyboard plus wireless mouse. Also has wi-fi and bluetooth. Currently installed is...
Anyone had any experiance with this lens? If I go down the D7000 route, I have seen one of these at a hell of a good price.
Looks a little on the big and heavy side and well above anything I have ever owned both size, price and quality!
Slightly worried about handheld shots, but as I am...
Time to upgrade my kit as I want to start making more money next year.
Last year I was taking pics at horse shows using a trusty Olympus E-620 and 40-150mm lens. Nought special, but the pics came out very well and I sold quite a few (www.jayx2aphotography.com - pics).
Want to up my game a...
All at ISO800 and f1.8 handheld
100% crops:
Quite impressed with the detail and overall sharpness using these settings, was pushing the limits some what using ISO800, but results better than expected!
Getting myself an iPad 2 from work and after a few bits. Do people recommend any kind of screen protector? iPad will be remaining indoors most of the time! And also what kind of cases are best? Not too keen on the roll over thing that you can get. Was thinking of some kind of leather wallet or...
Nexus Prime due sometime this month I believe. Keeping the same curved design as Nexus S.
Dual-core Samsung Exynos CPU at 1.5 GHz with 1GB RAM
4.65-inches, 1280 x 720 HD display: Super AMOLED Plus
8.8mm thick, somewhat heavier than the Galaxy S II
Metal body (yes, you read that right, Samsung...
Honeymoon next year and a few trips away this year means it's time for some Micro 4/3 in my life!
Budget - £800 max to include lenses.
I know ukaskew has a thread already - but didnt want to clog that up with all this!
Have narrowed the bodies down to the following (other sugestions welcome -...
I wondered how long it would take them to join the game:

So I took a bunch of pics with the D90 and 16-85mm lens at a horse show. Nearly all pics came out looking like the one below.
All around F6 and shutter speeds of 1/1000 - 1/1600.
For me, the quality just does not cut it. Could be down to my chosen settings (3d tracking being one of them), but...
Never used a filter on my Olympus, never had a mark on the lens either - even though it got bashed a wee bit.
Now.... my Nikon lens is worth considerably more than the Oly... worth putting a filter on as extra protection... or just be careful? As its 16mm at the wide end I have to be careful...
After shooting with my wee Olympus E-620 for a year or so, it's time for a change.
Managing to sell around 30 odd prints at each horse event I am attending, but with the darker evenings coming, the poor Oly just cant cope.
Above ISO 400 you can really start to see the noise, so I feel its time...
Got mine deliverd today and all excited it i opened it up, only to find that the power button was really loose! Usually I wouldn't mind a bit of play here and there, but as you tapped the screen you could here the bugger moving! I compared it the the better halfs phone and hers has no play or...
Just awaiting the arrival of my IP4 and was wondering if itunes can deal with two iphones or will it try to back up mine as the misses etc?
Or is worth just setting up two user accounts on the PC and running itunes seperatly for each mobile.
Having decided that I use my misses IP4 more than my own phone I am going to get one. She has a incase snap on hers which does a good job. Any other snap/thin cases that do the job, and any pics? I did look at the casemate one, but not keen on the fact that it has a cut out on the back for the...
First batch of info is starting to come through:
Despite huge critical celebration of FIFA 11, EA Canada producer (and Brit ex-pat) David Rutter has promised that the studio isn't resting on its laurels for the next game in the series.
The producer told the latest issue of OPM UK that EA has...
My set from the day:

All pics un-edited, and I was messing with manaul settings for a few to get things right, then decided to stick with manual for the rest of the day. Was using single...
My friend wants to help take some horsey pics with me and has a budget of up to £700 which needs to include lens/cards etc.
Looking around the newly released 600D etc are just far too expensive.
The D90 is now around £670, which seems a great price to me. I know its been semi replaced by a...
Looking for somthing like the previous gen nano, but cheaper and possibly better sound quality. Looked at a Sony one, but apparantly the volume is limited quite low.
Any recomendations? Around 8GB would be nice!
Anyone know of any decent wedding photographers in the Sussex area that are reasonable? A friend of a friend said he would give a discount, but that still came in at £1300 before any prints/albums.
My work place is again running a photo competition for our fundraising competition. Last year 2 entries from CS made it in to the calendar and hoping you lot can again produce some decent shots! No prizes I'm afraid, just a copy of the calendar if you get in!
This year’s theme is Weird and...
Whats the best thing to use for cleaning a 40" LCD TV? Whats everyone use?
Also, the surround needs cleaning and my mate also has a Samsung ans used the supplied cloth which led to a bunch of fine scratches sppearing all over it!
Cheers!
Just upgraded to a nice HDTV and running just plain old Sky + non HD. When I have plugged the box in, all the menus and programme info at the bottom are friggin huge!
Is this normal? Looks a bit odd! Guess its to do with the TV being 1080dp 40"? Or are there settings I can adjust?
Can currently get this for £344 which is within my £350 budget for a TV. Anyone got one or recommend any other 40" TV's for £350?
This is it:
