I have two new tyres currently in the house, two old ones in the garage (slightly damp garage at the mo)
The two new ones are going on the front on my 182 when needed and there is one in the garage which i hope to get mounted on to a 182 alloy soon.
where should i store the tyres and in what...
what should I use to protect the leather in my car, dont want something that is going to smell or change the texture or colour of the leather just to protect it from sun/cracking etc thats all.
was looking in the locking wheel nut box and instructions say keep the code safe.
The code is not in there. Bu in the service maunal at the top of the front page is a code, can you confirm it begins with "FER" then 5 numbers?
One thing after another, still waiting for two new back wheels after renault knackered em.
Notice now the front passenger side headlight washer, which has always been cracked since day 1 but never leaked is now leaking.
Didnt want to take it in for repair before when it was just cracked as...

My tyre is going dwon from 30 psi to 26psi over 7 days. Had a look round it and its got a screw in the tread close to the inner edge, rear tyre passenger side.
Been told that if its this close to sidewall it cannot be repaired.
Anyone else had a slow puncture, and what did you do about it...
My local dealers seem to be a bit slack when it comes to knowing what needs chaging and when, confusing the 2.0L clio to the other clios.
Been reading in the service book that accessories belt and pulleys need chaning every 36000 miles on the 2.0 whereas its 72000 for other clios, what are...
reading this months car mechaincs mag read about this site that offer small cards detailing all important bits for cars.
They can do one for the Renaultsport 182 and I presume for all other clios too, special offer of £1.99 for the card this month.
might be of some interest, ive ordered one.
Ive been looking at a couple of cups and they seem to have plastic side strips with the same texture as non painted ones, just painted over, where as 182 side strips are painted and smooth like rest of the car.
is this a cost saving thing, and is it the same for the 172?
Read this in local paper, thoughts are with the family.

just ordered new one from siemens UK. Renault dont offer TMC function as they havent payed their licence so I have purchased new map with TMC included so it works with the standard renault sat nav.
if anyone else is in the same situation they can be conatcted on 01213261162
abs only works when braking and same goes for TC when on the fast pedal.
if on a bend and fear losing it should you
a) carry on hoping TC will sort it or
b) slam on and use abs?
does this change in wet/dry etc?
when I went to a renault day in 2002 they had a new MK2 172 but it had the coloured stitching on the seats renaultsport. Looked good, I thought theu stopped when it changed to the new shape 172?
has anyone got a pic of the coloured stiching from a 172 new or old?
what are saftey alerts on road angel 2?
and does anyone know how congestion alerts work, take it they just use typical hotspots for congestion but do they take into account time of day and the day of the week etc?
cheers

can someone do me a favour, go shut their boot in their 182, and take it real slow the last few inch, does the boot touch the parcel shelf as it closing, think its parcel shelf anyway?
anyone heard of this, couple of peopole come round wash your car thats on the drive or in the road and then ask for some money at the door! not happened to me personally but wouldnt want them doing it thats for sure....
how on earth do I remove the small cover to gain access for top up etc? it is so tight it feels as though it will snap?
decided oil change at 1500miles best idea, first one anyway, then another at 6000miles.
my light has never flashed to say its in use while driving, how can induce it to come on? Ive been over rough/bumpy ground put it must have all the traction it needs.
Can someone confirm it definately lights up whwn it is in use?
