yes, basically i was asking if we could still download the current firmware and where was it on their site. The last bit of their reply relates to the new camera location speed limits, which we are still getting. The software is still being written though and we will have to wait another few...

copied nero install file from other pc onto this one, now it says demo where install button was on downloaded version so looks like it is working now. Strange it wouldnt with downloaded copy.

mmm, well even if i leave serial number box empty, (its a trial version afterall) then still the install button is blanked out.

ive downloaded a copy of nero 6 to use as a trial version however going though the installation when i click next after accepting licence agreement i enter my name, put not applicable in company etc but the install button, the button i have to press to actually move on is greyed out. I end...

seems to show cd drive sometimes when i boot up other times dvd rw. oh well..

nothing was ticked in there. One thing i have just noticed if i use the on screen keyboard the ctl c and v works. does that help in any way? print screen dont work on keyboard but does on on screen keyboard.

tried all that wasnt having any of it. ive just done system restore to 4 days ago and the drive is now called DVD RW again. still not sure why ctl and c aint working.

just a quickie, right if i can right click and copy paste but cant use the shortcut of CTL C and CTL V, does anyone know if this feature has an on off switch in XP?

it does show the dvd rw drive in there and i can burn a cd using say realplayer but like i said if i go to my computer it only shows it as a cd drive and windows media player says" no cd or dvd burner has been detected. press f5 to refresh the list" if i try to burn a cd using it.

only thing is not sure if its liinked to me now being able to use media player 10 to burn cds,if i try it just says, ""no cd or dvd burner has been detected. press f5 to refresh the list"

i rebooted it hasnt changed anything. I uninstalled the drive then turned the machine off and on but still only says cd drive in my computer not "DVD RW" if i right click on the drive in my computer it lists it as a cd drive (Type- CD Drive) when in actual fact its a dvd rw drive, any ideas...

im sure it used to show it as a dvd rw drive when i clicked my computer. Now it just shows cd drive, although it still plays dvds. what could have occured?

most braodband isps offer unlimited net access. Are thesetruly unlimited or if you constantly downladed at full bandwidth for 1 month would they have something to say? just curious really.
