yep, it was £1500 as an option. (I paid an extra £200 for a new map disc which allowed me to use the TMC traffic alert feature, the standard renault discs wernt allowing this at the time. I did manage to get the £200 reimbursed though ;)...
there is me and at least one other person I know of factory colour sat nav in their 182s on here.
You should be able to get the dash top part I suppose. Afterall if I needed a new one they would have to be able to get one. Quite costly I would imagine. You mean for building your own system...
r.jay i didnt notice a difference in start up volume.
The pics there I think the unit is too low. I know thts the only place it will pick up a signal with the uv screen, but it would be better to mount slightly higher looking over the top ofthe wipers and use an additional antenna mounted with...
it says like the rest ofthe renault range, usual stuff really. Try to vary the enigine speed, keep it below 3k to 3.5k revs for first 625miles, and not above 80MPH.
At the end of the day its up to you aint it, thrash it or run it in gently.
I was gentle with mine up until 625miles then...

without over doing it and using wet and ry then polishing I doubt it is ever going to look good.
I just a c**k tail stick to just dap a little on, gets rid of the white anyway on my arctic blue chips!
I put come turtle wax brake dust barrier on when i got car home, easy to clean now, nothing more than soap and water. Helps doing it every week though.
if yours doesnt have the blue cover it will go cool every time you have AC on cool. Just works off that. If you have the blue cover, be sure to turn it to open position.
Think the whole renault range now has cooled glove boxes. All the ones with AC anyway.
Renault have stopped putting blue covers in new cars though, they stopped back end of last year.
and yeah its to have it cooled or not as you say.
my bros new megane didnt come with the blue cover...
its a lot of money that for a car that is going to cost so much to put right.
no airbags with that amount of front end damage, although admit no engine so front is going to look more of a mess....
its not definate that laser will be made illegal. If I was buying a detector now I would still buy one with laser reception.
It does seem a good buy though ^^
:D
laser is the hardest to avoid, and detect but the one most will get done by afterall all the other cameras are well sign posted.
Just seen on news new cameras on M4 today, again laser vans.
did you get a stencil kit with 2X stickers through the post then? how much was it if you dont mind me asking?
Worth knowing it can be done, if anyone gets their window replaced.
The alarm led is just to the left of the gear knob. I havnt measured it, but suppose i could if you wanted it to...
definately seems to be working faster now, especially through the menus. Maybe it would repsond slightly quiker to alerts? who knows....
worth doing imo.
I take it you got it with the "cup suspension" if so surely it should feel the same?
glad you like it.
Wouldnt have thought you would have noticed such big differences with most things, like seat height for example, its the same aint it?
Liam
you can get a renault dealer to fit the renault alarm (cobra) my dealer charges £300 fitted, with the LED in the correct place. SO it wont stand out as an import.
You could if you wanted get your car marked up by ISR with the door stickers to further get it up to "UK spec". If you wanted to.
