there's not many HD DVD's out yet anyway is there?
What's going to happen in future? I mean, will they release a HD + a normal DVD version? I'd be gutted if i got the 360 and HD-DVD only to find out no-one was supporting HD format?
Sayign that, I know i'll end up getting one anyway, lol
Good TV that, I was looking at those, they've just updated it with the 37WLT68. Apparently though it's not worth paying the extra £300 or so over the outgoing model, I think you just get an extra HDMI and better speakers.

There used to be rumours that plasma was unreliable, from what i've read over past months that used to be true, but not anymore.
Having said that I would go for a 37" LCD i think,

SERVICE light could just be the airbag wire under the driver's seat (orange wire). It's dead common.
Nothing lights up on the dash to let you know it needs a Service, lol, its stupid.
Not true, you might well be stuffed mate.
His insurance won't cover this at all, it's not RTA so they're not obliged to get involved. If you are comp on your insurance you are covered for it under malicious damage cover on your policy, i'm guessign your excess is more than £130 though, so...
