lol you have a doppleganger! I didnt let you know as i only would have shown you up ;) hope cars going well will have to go for a few bevvies when dave gets his car back.
love the look of the pug180 and prefer the seats to that of the 172 but whilst people say they're gutless in the midrange over on pgoc theres some seriously rapid ones - so nothing a bit of tuning cant sort.
if you dont specifically want a cup i would just look round for a good 172. for 5k...
i have exactly the same with my car. when i was using it for a boring motorway commute i swapped to 95 and got better mpg than with v-power. i couldnt figure it out either
the only difference between the top two clay bars is that the first link comes in a small plastic tub so you can keep them safe and clean.
if your doing the whole car have your clay cut into half or thirds and sit the other piece/s in a tub of luke warm water. when the piece your using...
for ease i'm still tempted by the R26 ones but i think the decals inc. fitting and modification are going to be circa £100 so not a cheap mod at all :S
hopefully a bit of wet sanding will sort the roof, otherwise ill have it sprayed gunmetal lmao
had a similar incident with my old 1.2 in that the door stopped shutting nicely compared to the drivers side so loosened the bolts on the door, raised it at the end and rebolted and it shut lovely. so could need a bit of adjustment if its sagged on its hinges
if i had the money i would dconsider having my engine blueprinted considering as they were made down to a price. but for the gains your likely to expect i think theres better things to spend the money one.
would have biten your hands off if i still had my old car as couldnt find anymore carbon things to go on that. carbon sides on yellow sounds promising :D
ive used half a tank over the weekend and i was driving positively slowly compared to you!
i'll give you a buzz during the week when ive finally finished your bits :)
:approve: lovesit!
ive got some seriously bad scratches on the roof. so will be 2500/3000 wetsanding and then pcing. but if they're still there ive got the option of respraying the roof, or going for decals to see if i like it dark.
6 sets to be precise ;)
i would say this wait is turning into somewhat of a piss take, but i said that 6months ago lmao.
it'll be worth it in the end .... and then you can take it all apart and install your cooper bottom end :approve:
having spent too much time on meganesport i'm serious toying with having some r26/r27 decals put on the roof - and colour coding my wing mirrors to match the alloys (megane style)
so heres the car:
megane ones:
clio ones:
cant find an overhead shot of the R27 yet.
so should i do...
they do actually look better in the gold colour, but they're a bit too jap style for the clio.
the size and offset should be fine, perhaps a 5mm spacer to fill the arches out a little - so personal preference at the end of the day
janspeed and k-tec are one of the few people to do an aftermarket cat. otherwise you can go to pro-speed, H&S etc. to have a custom sports cat made up. basically a universal one but with the pipework made by them. i was quoted a few prices from £150 to £230 for this - so probably the easier...
