it doesnt come on when its due a service. what they are installing for the next generation of Renaults is a special "Warranty" light. Youll probably get this coming on quite often.

hi and welcome. shouldnt really have any problems if its brand new? Expect the exhaust to start rattling soon though (around 4000rpm). Thats a warranty job and happens on all 172! Other than that just look out for banging under wheelspin (most do that as well).
