whem u turn the engine on + off it doesnt store the fault (I;ve seen it with my own eyes). Reno had to drive mine till it broke, then drive it back to reno (f**ked) and then plug it in.

this is occuring more and more now.

I had it on my 172, turned out to be throttle potentiometres, but it took reno 3 months to diagnose (and me nearly killing myself all the time).
in the end they replaced the sensors + maybe an inlet manifold (not sure?)

its not a common fault that i know of?
if u can hear the relay maybe the battery lead is disconnected? u checked that?
maybe a stuck immobiliser circuit too?
for visual impact the V6 takes some beating id say.
it is quick and handles mint.
but.
i totally agree with what this guy is saying re the interior. i mean the seats ARE the same as the 1.2 jobs with just a different cover. same for the dash etc.

when u turn the engine over again tho the lights go off and it doesnt get recorded. u got to plug the laptop thing in while the lights are on! which means driving it till it breaks, then try to get it to a reno gge.

wat annoys me is u read people on here getting free services andd stuff just cos they moaned! i had genuine problems, kicked off big time and got treated like a peice of sh*t. reno can go fcuk themselves from now on!!
lol, thats supposed to be the ECU reset, u can do it pushing the gas pedal too.
last time we posted this half the cars ran totally sh*te afterwards so be careful.
same thing happened to mine.
the problem is when the 2 lights come on and it dies, u turn the engine off then on again. this clears the fault, the ECU doesnt store it.
What the IDIOTS at reno need to do is get the lights to come on (floor it, thatll do it) and then get it back to Reno...

saying that my next car is Grp 20 (fiat 20VT) and admiral will do that for 900, im 26, full ncd Manchester (Area 5/6).
had my saxo for 3 yrs, never once did it go back to citroen for warranty, had the 172 for 2 and half years, id say its been in 6 times?
all sh*tty niggling faults, not major, but it ends up pissin u right off.
oh and the dealers are useless, i think theyre something like 4th from the bottom...
