best part of £1k of coils, £1.5k of engine work, £500 alloys and £500 on brakes all done. im sure thats going to add somewhat onto the asking price for anyone looking for a clio without all the aggrevation of sending it away for works to be completed...
renault normally charge £63 for it on their list price. always used to buy it at circa £25 with vat. but past couple of times ive tried to get some they've refused and tried to charge me the full £63 :S
only had rear bumper damage, still cheap imo. dont know why people get so hung up about cat ds, as long as the repair is professional they're as good as any other

extremely good buy for someone there!
*edit* just noticed its a cat D, still a good buy though
same position as me. swerved to avoid a taxi and parked it in a lamp-post.
i was quoted 2k by admiral, flux etc. 4800 off hasting direct  but elephant came to my rescue with a quote of £1400.
i rung round a load of places, and the more specialist companies were alot more...
easiest option would be to take the car to an MOT station as thats the legal standard for a car to meet surely?
otherwise motor engineers can be found in the yellow pages, but last time i wanted one they have a standard charge of circa £150
you can, but most bodyshops will only do it if you sign a disclaimer to say that if the bonnet cracks along the weave they wont be held responsible. or if you feeling brave you can have a go yourself, as its only a very outside chance of it happening. thats what i found when asking round...
sounds cheaper to me. only other thing i want at the same time is a pakshak or similar drying towel. so will have to give the two of them a ring and see whose cheaper :)
ditto that. most of the monkeys ive asked about 'mopping' my car say it takes 1-2hours. and probably involves letting the office junior wack some g3 on a converted angle grinder. yet when me and makavelli did a 'quick' job on my car it took two of us 7 hours. so deffo worth spending the extra
going to buy a gallon of this, but to save me shopping around for hours does anyone know where its cheapest. i.e. when any discounts and postage are included as i find it quite misleading until you physically get to the checkout
Mark :)
i prefer my old momo one to the ph1 gear knob simply because the momo one was half leather and a bit bigger. but personal preference at the end of the day
thats what i had, but i fitted it and was like 'fook me' as the o was damaged. then as id put it on properly my dad and i couldnt get the bloody thing off
