all I want is something to help me improve, my current set up is seriously cramping my style.
Always makes my stuff out of focus, and blurry and my my skies washed out......please help.

I have done a very quick edit on your pics - getting rid of unwanted gash around the car, hope you don't mind.
Yes we did a shoot for Kneller Hall School of Military music.
This girl ( Rachel) asked for a portrait, so I just stuck my back to a huge window and kept things simple.
I use photomechanic (camerabits)
awesome piece of software for archiving, batch processing/resizing, file info, watermarks, etc etc
most pro phots use it.

some nice shots mate< my only gripe would be to concentrate on lighting her eyes more.
Image 1 has no catchlights in her eyes.

I am actually doing work for an Airsoft magazine ( Airsoft International)
It retails in WH Smith and the like, I have shot this month and the next three months covers and feature pages.
I always carry a white card to read from.
And also carry a whole pack of gels for my flash CTO, Window greens etc etc
Sometimes I mix things up and WB for Tungsten and chuck a green/blue filter on.
One of the best guys to learn WB from is Kelvin lol

All done with the D3s, to be frank I can't report too much on the cameras handling ability as it was too bright to push the iso.
