stusV6, I know ive brought it up quite a few times but a place in Castleford can get you the correct Elf oil for RS engines at a very, very cheap price.
Ive posted contact details before. This way you are putting in 100% what the book says.
we shouldnt have to dread taking it in to a official renault place!
Ive got my own oil to take elf stuff, I even doubt they will bother putting it in, maybe thats a tad too suspicious though! lol
I wouldnt want them to wash it or change tyres unless I was supplying. If thats the case with...
but tinhead, Id rather have proper Elf excellium ldx 5W40 the stuff which is intended for 182s, for £2.50 for 2 litres than pay £19.99 for 4 litres? of halfords stuff.
reg vardy sound like the real muppets!
VVT so you dont have to run it in???? WTF?
you did best running it in, all new engines are best ran in properly ranging from 2cc remote control cars (which DO have to be run in) to boeing 747 engines which again are "run in".

I too have my own oil like hip_spasm bargain and the correct stuff,
hip_spasm I got in touch with 2 main dealers and they want to charge me...
There are loads of posts about this, replied to this as it was the longest!
Spoke to Michelin Tech who took a couple of days to get back to me, in order he got me the correct answer.
From now on they are ensuring the only pilot exalto tyre acorss europe will be the higher spec stiffer...
you shouldnt have an expression badge in there. It was good to have a dynamique badge on the dynamique models, shame renaultsport couldnt be arsed putting a badge in that place.
I have a light that comes on when I open the glove box in there, a blue flap for the air conditioning system, a...
the laser sesnor should be mounted as low as poss in the centre of the windscreen but high enough to get a clear view over the wipers.
Some b2 installations ive seen have the laser sensor high near the rear view mirror, this might be the reason why some arnt getting alerts.
fixx, does infra red set yours off? a B2? i was told by blackspot it wont its a different frequency altogether. I tried it on mine again didnt work.
Going to try to test it at work with laser gun to get definate answer.
on my dynamique the fronts were still going from new after 24K miles, I did right it off in the wet winter though so prob could have been changed a little earlier.
