reading this months car mechaincs mag read about this site that offer small cards detailing all important bits for cars. They can do one for the Renaultsport 182 and I presume for all other clios too, special offer of £1.99 for the card this month. might be of some interest, ive ordered one.

I get average of 360miles a tank sometimes more. Thats by using full tank to fill up using odometer. (btw anyone noticed trip different to odometer, mine go up at different rates!) most ive had on miles to refill using trip after i filled up was 460..

nor do I Iain C, Ive never had to take my own wheels off, but if I did would try to just put them back as tight as possible.

maybe, certainly making some changes arnt they. Getting rid of sat nav option etc I didnt know the ID leather packs were available for the 182 in other countries, how much do they cost? same as the V6, if so quite a large chuck of the cars value that isnt it.

no it doesnt have one standard, renault can fit you a cat 1 system for about £300 or plenty others around too. on a similar note saw in this edition of renault mag they offer a tilt sensor the the megane RS to protect wheels etc, doesnt mention same for clio rs tho.

the ID leather packs are for the V6 though.

is there a correct setting to use listed in the manual? do tyre fitters actually fit them to the correct tightness?

at night in the fog, best to use sidelights and just fog lights as dipped beam o full beam just glares back at you from the fog reflection. I dont drive round with the fogs on, but dont find that they cause glare for drivers in front at all. Not new cars with low down fogs anyway, the back...

you have to be talking much older cars than these though, and anyway they all have decent fuel filters to stop rubbish getting through

on the 2002 the 1.2 16V dynamique it advertised sports suspension this was removed in the 2003 1.2 16V dynamique

the answer is no, doesnt work with 182 so suspect neither 172 mk2 either.

dont think you can no. i asked this to the dealer re the dynamique option cat 1 alarm he said to comply with cat 1 they cant beep, obv bollox but there you go.

seriously Id keep my car, get a small plane too, would love to sort out a pilots licence.

zetec, are the the guy that emailed me? if so I have replied. It is available I have it, in fact its the only one that is available for the renaultsport clio, same went for the 172. Its in the latest brochure and havnt heard anything otherwise. Liam

yeah its cat1 does the job and comes well fitted. nothing more needed. But doesnt have the features of some like proximity sensor which Id like. It always detects movement in car when Ive tested it though, and right away when doors open. Plus it beeps if you try locking car and...

ive got renault sat nav in my 182 and use it a lot now, not for finding places most of the time its used for TMC to avoid jams and delays on way to work etc.

i too use rain x every time, gets the glass clean like nothing else. and helps keep it clean. think ive used my wipers for bout 3 mins in total since i got the car 4500miles ago. !
