service trying to tell me its not covered under warranty! even though its been cracked since day 1! will have to try to go through the salesman I bought it from. How can it not be thier fault, no car should just start leaking all water out!
anyone any ideas when this part should be in stock...
One thing after another, still waiting for two new back wheels after renault knackered em.
Notice now the front passenger side headlight washer, which has always been cracked since day 1 but never leaked is now leaking.
Didnt want to take it in for repair before when it was just cracked as...
yes I agree with the above and that there are some decent ones out there. But when you hand keys over you cant exactly say dont give it to one of your chimps! Wish I could as I wouldnt now be waiting for a factory somewhere in france to start making 182 cup wheels so they can eventually send me...
manual says 5w40 fully synthetic, but others will say otherwise on here. You choice at end of the day. Good idea taking your own though, then you know you are putting the correct stuff in!
everyone should have alarms these days, I would not own a car without it having a cat 1 set up.
take your front off the stereo too, less on show the better.
Its totally ******* stupid that people dont take care. I have done the above before now, ie wait for the other space to fill up to make sure there is no damage. no dings so far, even though come back couple of times to find next car about 10" away!
Sorry to hear about this, what you gonna do...
traffic police are just that they are there to deal with traffic. Its not as ifthey would have been chasing a robber if not doing a file for you. If you have just forgot to send paperwork in then I imagine it should be ok.
Ill say this, Im going to dam try to get them. Fair enough there will be some people out there capable of the task of fitting tyres. But in this situation where I spent some time looking for somewhere that stated there would be no damage and then there was, its almost laughable!
I dont see why...
thanks for that Stu, going to print what u say off take it as ammunition if i need it, Dont know if i will be alllowed to watch over them though....
Ive phone several places and all seem surprised both wheels have damage.
Lets hope they order me 2 new ones, (what will this cost them?) and i...
the workshop manager didnt think it would be possible to get both replaced.
Phoned back asked personally for the service manager Keith. It was Keith I initially spoke to when booking it in and it was him that assured me there would be no damage. He has said he is embarrassed because of this...
right both wheels have marks on the inside of the rim, now can someone tell me if this is the norm, for the inside of the wheel. Is it unavoidable, or more likely to get marked on the inside. Or should I be showing them this too and asking for 2X new wheels?
I am hacked off.:@
I agree Jon to some extent. But I was reading on here the other day what a tyre fitter posted. There is no reason why a wheel should get damaged if they know what they are doing. It was the 2nd wheel he damaged too so it is possible to do correctly. Should it be possible not to have marks on the...
