my boss at work has done this. no problems as you can drive the car on its N.Ire registration whilst its pending change through the DVLA. essentially the same process as changing to/from a private plate. however i believe he also had to have it MOT'd at the same time.

what?? when i had my 1.2 i used to run 32 up front and 30 out back. now i have 33/31 on the 172.

megane would be a good bet. but the car your talking about sounds like a 1.4 sport which has the dual optic headlights, which would be a nice car. however if you could get a bit more cash and look privately you could easily get a fairly new 1.4 for £4500

i had the same problem on mine, which was 2003 plate about a year ago, and that just needed stripping and cleaning.

selected ph1's came in iceberg, but the more common ph1 colour is titanium almost all ph2's are iceberg

wet sanding it better as it stops the paper from clogging and damaging the paint. i personally apply dust coats of paint until ive cover it all which could be quite a few coats, then a couple of coats of thicker sprayed paint to get it smoother before the lacquer. however, the lacquer stage...

could be your rear drums are a little shagged, but usually its because they're dust sealed and in need of a clean. you can do it yourself, you need to strip down the drums and apply some brake cleaner and then allow it to fully dry and then reassemble them. or you can take it to a garage who...

aim....press trigger... some people like to apply thin coats, others like to apply thicker coats. completely personal preference imho

you need spacers as they're on an offset which is too small. normally its 37 on a 7'' so your a little way off.
