yes this is why i am not going to use the jack supplied, if I get a flat going to phone the AA as i dont want to use the tin of foam either. Not sure of best place to use the trolley javk though under the car. someone will know though
isvenII where did u get the elf oil from?
if everyone reads their serivce boks not the car manual it will say for the 182
"only use ACEA A3 5W40 standard oil for the 2.0L RS engine"
so Im not putting 10w40 in.
in the manual itself on the front cover it says Elf Excellium LDX 5w40
or...
when it is armed it should not make any sound, the 182 alarm has a fault with somw of them try a search, but think it will be a different alarm to this really. try a search and see if it is the same problem
the handbook does say 5 40 as far as i remember, and yes if it had "running in oil" it would state a change at 1000mile like subaru and think honda too?
i think it comes with normal oil from new, whatever this is, prob elf 10 40 as has been suggested
the dynamiques didnt come with alarms standard did you have one fitted at the dealer like me?
it will have the red led (another one) to the left of the gear stick if so.
it will beep if you turn it on too quickly shut the door then give it a few seconds to sort itself out.
try this and let...
i did mine with extra gloss only yesterday the rain today is just flying off, especially with the rain x on glass too.
i used the super resin on fly squats and couple of fine swirl marks to remove them.
working now comes up with tmc info and the disc has much more infor on it anyway, excellent. So the renault sat nav has cost me £1700 instead of the £1500 they advertise.
so i might as well wait til 12K miles before changing the oil if ppl are saying not to put the top stuff in as in synthetic.
Renault handbook says 10 40 full stop at all times doesnt it, not to use a certain type then after its run in use other types.
so you are saying the comp and the dipstick arnt matching up, dipstick saying nearly on min while comp saying nearly full? that cant be right.
I ran mine in properly as renault say. Well in fact i kept it below 3000revs for 600mile and below 3500 for about 1000 mile now I drive normally...
mate are you pressing the trip reset button when it says "oil ok" this then tells you the number of bars you have... otheriwse you just get the oil ok message
the renault say nav would be costly to fit aftermarket, as it has other sensors all around the car. So it works even underground cos it takes readings from car for speed and direction as well as GPS. There are plenty of pics on this forum from my 182 which is the same sat nav as the 172 one, the...
my service for my dynamaique was about £95 I think and that was from a usually expensive dealer, most are checks so should be too much, seems expensive that
no looks like they started doing them tighter, so tight in fact that many have split around the edge of the ball so when you squirt is goes in other directions too!!!!!
:@
does the same job as far as i know, just bigger and bit more ugly, but cheaper innit, I payed £399 for RA2. go for it.
search on mouting them and extra antennas etc lots posts before.
to be 100% legale they need to show dealer postcode on bottom now. On mine from gt grafix, I have:-
Va Va Voom on botoom of plate
blue border
GB flag with St George underneath
Renault diamond logo running through background of plate
looks good!
and stuck them on to avoid any holes...
just ordered new one from siemens UK. Renault dont offer TMC function as they havent payed their licence so I have purchased new map with TMC included so it works with the standard renault sat nav.
if anyone else is in the same situation they can be conatcted on 01213261162
silver shield is cat 2, (i.e the alarm part is not thatcham approved but the immobiliser is) and gold shield is cat 1, only know cos I opted gold shield form dealer on an 2002 clio dynamique. My gold shield was a sigma alarm. No idea about 2000 clios mate sorry.
youd more than likely get a VDRS to correct the defective plates, within 14 days and get it stamped at a MOT station and send the copy back to the police.
GT Grafix are the best IMO for getting custom plates.
aye yeah I always try to approach at a speed in which I know I can stop at in the distance I can see to be clear.
from Roadcraft :-)
BUT I was wondering what was best when it all goes t*** up, suppose depends on circs, and speed etc...
