abs only works when braking and same goes for TC when on the fast pedal. if on a bend and fear losing it should you a) carry on hoping TC will sort it or b) slam on and use abs? does this change in wet/dry etc?

could do with knowing this myself, gonna need to jack it at some point and dont want ot mark or bend ANY part of the car, visible or not. So there must be somewhere where this is possible?

you cant stop swirl marks, look at any car at an angle in the sun and they will have them. some worse than others. Even ones in showrooms have them.

you prob dont see a pink ferrari as people who buy these cars look after them, if that is with autoglym, or any other product using autoglym a couple times a year is better than doing nothing or using washing up liquid which is probably what most old fords get treated to hence they go pink.

when I went to a renault day in 2002 they had a new MK2 172 but it had the coloured stitching on the seats renaultsport. Looked good, I thought theu stopped when it changed to the new shape 172? has anyone got a pic of the coloured stiching from a 172 new or old?

id say clio ones are prob 10K or 12K then, when you turn them on ther are purple then settle down to blue, apart from top of beam which is pure purple. quality!

are the renault HID bulbs different to other HID bulbs. They are much much brighter and more purple than some HID units espeically rubbish mini ones which look hardly any different to halogen ones?

yes you should have a box with the 4 normal bolts that they take off to fit the locking ones,a nd 2 keys. dunno if they put them to correct torque?

182 and 172 xenons are more purple than any other car on the road.

june15th got it done 2200miles. new engines as well built as the renaultsport one should last ages surely? older engines sierras escorts etc have no probs getting to 150K mile, so how much from a standard 172 engine 200K 250K no probs?

weird how they stopped doing it, i didnt think it was the switch making it stick out more on one side? I heard of some that were on all the time cos shutting the box didnt press hard enough, this annoyed ppl as they were driving as they could see the light. my june 04 182 has one anyway.

lol, so the whole black stalk is filled with water when it is in place? mine has a small crack on the stalk that water comes out of when i squirt it but only then not when it is not squirted.

same for me, I also hate wonky stickers I got some before I even picked up the car cos I knew they are always wonky clearly people take no care in sticking them on. On my last dynamique I had the cat 1 alarm upgrade and was able to buy a set of the stickers which state cat 1 instead of cat2...

edde thought it might be a big job removing the bumper, thats why put off taking car to get headlight washer replaced, mind they would still scratch the bumper wouldnt they. i honestly think it is much much tighter on the drivers side of the car regarding the bulbs.
