err, think its used to monitor exhaust gasses after theyve been burnt.
My 172 has 2, one before the cat, and one after.... thats why theyre a ballache to de-cat.
after my car being sat at Reno for 4 days now, they havent even managed to look at it yet, Im thinking of draining the petrol and putting some fresh peccy in.
Problem is how do i take the petrol out? Is there a drain plug or something?

right then, put £30 of optimax in, straight away car feels REALLY bad, chugging very badly, like its dying on its arse, whats more confusing is it souns well loud and very chuggy?! its hardly even driveable.

if it comes as standard they cannot usually withdraw insurance cover, normally what they ask for is some kinda proof to show the car has an alarm, ie handbook, dealer literature etc
if you cant find the cert you can get a stand in jobbie by going toa VSIB approved installer and theyll write something out for you, should be just as good.
