^ not always. if your doing it outside in the sun it'll dissapear, but do it on a cold damp day in your garage and it'll stay and tits up your spray job as i've often found to my dismay lol
^ thats what i said in my pm just. I spray the laquer on my badges so thick to the point it almost runs. The only time you may have put it on to thick is if it goes cloudy, which judging by the pics you've sent it hasnt. The thicker you can get away with the better, and more resillient. As said...
try some polish which is a little more aggressive. or the harder grade clay is good at removing overspray, so should be good at removing a scratch. i had a similar mark on my old car which wouldnt come off. and my dad managed to get it off with some cif. then i just polished and waxed it back...
i had some mixed from halfords once as i needed it, and it didnt have any flake in it in comparison to the stuff off auto-paint. disappointed to say the least
maybe i know it has a different airbox, hence why they dont make vipers etc for the 2004 model. sure someone like edde will come along and tell you more though ;)
nitro mors the word t**t onto the side of his car. perhaps a tad overkill but will certainly prove a point.
i had a problem with some coils that i bought but just a polite discussion got the desired result for me, but you've tried that. so go get some nitro mors ...
i'm with you on that one, defo not acid or liquid, maybe a bad liquid attempt. Liquid is much more bold and a more 'orangey' yellow than that, acid being a more greeny yellow, that looks like neither.
cheers guys! i'd prob go for the 2nd one, purely cos theres a lot more pearl in the blue of the second one which i quite like, also the finish on it is slightly better :)
munchkin - you should hear how much i get ranted at by my girlfriend for spending all my time spraying!
